Clear Guidance for Medicare Options in Minnesota & Wisconsin
Choosing a Medicare plan can be confusing and time consuming-especially if you're trying to make big decisions alone. The best way to get clear guidance is to talk with an experienced, certified Medicare broker at NPF Benefits. Serving Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and surrounding communities, we can help you understand your Medicare options and choose a plan that's right for you.
How Medicare Works
Medicare is health insurance that covers people over age 65, or people who have received at least 24 months of social security disability insurance (SSDI) benefits at any age. It also covers people who have end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
There are two parts to Original Medicare. These are called Parts A and B. They cover inpatient hospital care and outpatient care, however they don’t cover everything. Private insurance plans offer extra medical and prescription drug coverage.
How We Can Help With Your Medicare Benefits
Our process is simple: We start by listening to you. We seek to understand your family health care needs. Once we know your needs, we can recommend a plan that makes sense for you.
Our goal is to make Medicare easy. We set specific timelines for you to follow. We educate on who to call for Parts A and B. And we work with you to enroll you in the extra coverage you might need, including Part C Medicare Advantage plans or supplement healthcare coverage and Part D Prescription Drug plans.
The best part is that our fee is built into your Medicare premium for Part C and Part D. That means you’ll never see an invoice from us.
Our Free Medicare Presentations: What You Need to Know
Did you know that NPF Benefits also offers free educational presentations about Medicare? These presentations take about an hour and give an overview of Parts A, B, C, and D. We’ll talk about the cost, important deadlines, and the timeline to enroll in each of the Medicare Parts.
We won’t try to sell you a specific Medicare plan. Our presentations are meant to be educational. In fact, we’ll never even mention the Medicare plans we represent. You won’t be pressured into a purchase by meals and fancy gifts. And you won’t be asked for your contact information. If you’d like us to meet with you to discuss Medicare, you’ll need to reach out.
